Yes, my loves, welcome to ANOTHER Christmas decor post. Tis the season, and I can’t get enough. The subject of today’s rambling? Garland, of course. I recently realized I do not have any of this Christmas classic in our home. Tragic, I know. I love classic fir garland, but I’m contemplating branching out (HA, pun [...]

Christmas week continues! We’re going to make up for last week with a veritable flood of Christmas cheer. On the agenda for today: coffeecake and presents (that’s my kind of day!). Did you read the title of that post and think what?!?! I know, say that three times fast….
Well, Homage, I have finally found a craft that unites my love of burlap with J’s abundance of gardening supplies (left over from the glut of tomatoes produced this summer).
Isn’t it cute? I think it’s a perfect way [...]

Oh, it’s delightful.
But…cheddar and pear? If you are weirded out by the idea of this combo, please just trust me on this one. It is a fall staple (umm…yes, pie can be a staple) in our house, and it’s what I brought to the family Thanksgiving meal. It was gobbled right up.
Cheddar Pear Pie
1 (9-inch) [...]

Happy Thanksgiving, lovelies! In the spirit of the holiday we have compiled a list of just some of the many blessings for which we are grateful.
K:
G is a wonderful husband who loves me unconditionally. He helps around the house without complaint and makes up silly songs for me. AND he makes me a gourmet dinner [...]
