Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, loves! I hope you are all enjoying the start of 2010 (side note – are we calling this “twenty-ten” or “two thousand ten”?  I don’t want to look like a fool. LIKE A FOOL).

You may not have noticed, but my personality could be considered “Type A” (somewhere out there G is laughing hysterically). Therefore, I LOVE New Year’s resolutions. I love making a list of goals and the satisfaction of crossing things off the list. Granted, the in-between may not be so pleasant, but let’s not dwell on that now. I have some important things to accomplish this year, so I’m going to publish my list for added accountability:

1. Take vitamins regularly (I will strive for daily). Simple, beneficial, but for some reason I have trouble doing it.

2. Work out at least 4 times per week. Ugh. An athlete I am not. And my workout buddy made it through Army bootcamp (not to mention the year in Iraq), so I have a bit of catching up to do…..

3. Learn how to sew. My fabulous (and talented) mother gave me a sewing machine for Christmas AND a lesson. I’m compiling inspiration photos and IT’S ON.

4. Clean out our house. The closets, cupboards, attic, and basement are out of control. I need to organize and de-clutter, re-purpose and donate.

5. Start a non-profit. A need AND a solution have been identified, but I’m getting bogged down in the details. One step at a time and eventually I will get there.

What are your New Year’s resolutions?

I don’t think G is the only one out there laughing hysterically…. You know I love you!!!!!!

I’m very impressed with your resolutions. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help! (I’ve not made any resolutions of my own, so I’ve got some free time :D )

My resolution is to hang out with you more. It’d make my life better.

Haha–I’m thinking “Type A” doesn’t quite do you justice. Maybe “Type AAAAA” :) Anyway–I like you, lots. AND I do believe you are missing one resolution. But yeah…
