I’m sorry. I have many things to apologize for:
This post is extremely tardy. I can’t believe I left you hanging on a Monday.
This post has nothing to do with decor, recipes, fabulous finds, diy projects, or anything relevant to this site.
This post may make you lose bladder control momentarily. Embarrassing.
G and I just saw this [...]

Oh, it’s delightful.
But…cheddar and pear? If you are weirded out by the idea of this combo, please just trust me on this one. It is a fall staple (umm…yes, pie can be a staple) in our house, and it’s what I brought to the family Thanksgiving meal. It was gobbled right up.

Ugh.
J and I email back and forth regularly, and Ugh is often the subject line. This week it’s a good description for how I feel. I’m just going to come out and say it – I am in a funk. I spent most of last week sick. Again. My house is a disaster and it [...]

Tavern….sloppy joe…loose-meat…umm..manwhich…?
Whatever you may call it, the tavern is an old-fashioned and yet timeless entree. Okay, maybe it’s a stretch to call saucey ground beef on a bun an “entree” … or “timeless” for that matter, but whatever.
Here’s the recipe, for those who aren’t afraid to embrace their inner Midwesterner:
Binkie’s Taverns
2 lb hamburger
1 T lemon [...]
