Friday was my last day of work at my former job. It has not been the best year, and my last day was sort of quiet and depressing. That is, it was until I pulled up in my driveway and saw this berried beauty gracing my front door:

K. had decided to surprise me by updating my summery door decor for this gorgeous fall stand-in. I love berries. A. and I had them everywhere at our winter wedding. And I love orange. Isn’t it perfect?

The change to a more fall/winter appropriate color couldn’t have come at a better time. It SNOWED yesterday morning.

While Murray enjoys the frosted grass, it spells mainly bleak things for me (and the slumbering garden). So…here’s to splashes of color, before everything turns white!

Thanks, K. You rock.
Happy Sunday!

You are more than welcome, darling. Here’s to new things (decor, career, etc….)! ~K
I didn’t know you got a new job! Do tell!
Yay! K, I’m glad you went with that one! Just FYI–I voted for that wreath when K & I went shopping on Friday
Glad to see it made it’s way to your lovely home!
Congrast on new beginnings and Fall foliage!

Well what a nice way to end your week! Congratulations on the new beginning, I hope you will be happier there. I’m hoping I can make a career change, myself – but this economy makes that decision harder, obviously.
Anyway, did not mean to get personal, sorry! Your door looks nice, what a nice friend!
