And we decided to NOT go organic and use SEVIN insect powder on them. They are thriving now. I LOVE it that you are gardening. I used to when we lived on the farm in Wellman and loved it. The deer who live with us and call our yard "home" help themselves to whatever produce I may plant, including jalapenos. Can you believe it? So this year, we but two tomato plants in pots on the deck. And yummo, I had fresh tomatoes for supper tonight. Nothin' better. Congrats on your awesome garden and your fortitude as a lettuce washer.
